I'm working on something lovely, but I use game model as a base, but I will edit it a bit and alter the textures. Can it be considered as mine and palced here or is it not fitting?
Hi.  Sorry, didn't see this comment sooner.

Yes, that's totally fine.  You don't need to have created the original model from scratch to submit it, you just need to have edited and unfolded it.
Great! It will take a lot of time still, especialy as I'm moving and computer is not life-need.
Hello. I’m a bit new at making paper crafts so I wanted to ask for help as I am facing some problems with pepakura. I made my models with paint 3d but when I put it in pepakura it just shows a really strange pointy template with too many tabs and faces. It even did that with a simple template of magnetite which I only made With cubes and cuboid. Is the problem with paint 3D, or pepakura or maybe the file type in which I am saving it? Also can someone suggest a better option? Thanks you so much.
Don't use paint3D in the first place. I never saw it showing verteces or faces so you probably create very messy model totaly not usable for papercrafting. Use something freeware like Blender, Metasequoya, Maya, or other normal program, tehy are all like 10 years ahead of paint3D
I can help you a bit, but too detailed model is not the best for papercrafting.
Based on the symptoms you describe, it sounds to me like the polygon count in the final model is too high.  But could you send me a copy of the model?  I might be able to help you better if I got a look at the situation.

I haven't yet had a chance to work with Paint 3D, so I don't know how good it is (though I have been meaning to try it out).  I usually use Blender for my 3D editing - it's a free download, but also notorious for being difficult to learn.  Other designers like Metasequoia, though I haven't really used that one myself either.
Thanks! I did work on blender before too, but I didn’t know we could use models in pepakura! I’ll be working on a model right away!
